All new entry applicants must complete online applications for vetting purposes and be accepted for course joining or HQ training intake inductions.
All individual tuition training applicants must meet responsible citizen course joining requirements and conditions.
Applicants for all courses may be requested to provide scanned passport picture pages and drivers licences as well as providing police history background checks.
All applicants accepted for courses or HQ training joining must meet all accepted exponent conditions and requirements, provide all mandatory or requested information and make payment of all course fees and any uniform equipment, accommodation or meals payments as well as for any resources by the set date for final payment. Failure to do so will prevent any future application being accepted for any Todd Group course conducted anywhere and including training at Todd Group HQ or any Todd Group depot.
Todd Group membership comes with responsibilities and requires members to maintain a current competency status.
Members must be responsible, reliable, quietly confident, committed safe practitioners of integrity and must respect the chain of command and other training exponents.
All rank and file must complete CQC code of conduct contracts for every course that they apply for and be accepted for that course of instruction.
CQB/CQC/MSD Training Conditions Requirements and Realities
Military CQC/MSD comprises of deadly and dirty tactics and skills training that require high level integrity and responsibility, with obeying and abiding by orders, instructions and trade craft safety practices in training and testing at all times.
Todd Systems training is mentally and combative physically challenging and demanding, and as such requires maturity, attention to detail, adherence to safety tradecraft practices and controlled aggressive output always.
Bullying or abuse including insulting, assaulting, discrimination, racial prejudice or sexual harassment is unacceptable and will be dealt with by disciplinary action and if required advising the appropriate authorities.
It is a mandatory requirement and responsibility for any exponent, proponent or instructor to report any accident or incident they are directly or indirectly involved with, or are a witness to on and off course.
Instructor positive purpose controlled, hard heavy and hostile training and testing including the use of profanities, bastardisation, verbal and physical threats, and verbal and physical character adjustment and critiquing must not be confused with bullying.
Enemy party/pers authorised and controlled use of verbal and physical insults, threats and physical threatening actions as part of training or testing must not be confused with bullying or abuse.
The Todd Group conducts our military CQC/MSD courses of instruction for civilians and military personnel with realism and all participants must be able to accept hard, heavy and hostile training and testing. Such training realities are not personal but are important to inoculating exponents/candidates against the realities of facing extreme violence with the objective of providing mental enhancement to negate the effects of fear and enable affirmative action threat neutralisation.
CQC/MSD training to best prepare exponents to deal with the realities of violence, requires all exponents to accept, understand, and action direct orders and instructions including positively responding to violent threats inoculation training. Bastardisation, harsh verbiage profanities, hands on critiquing and character adjustment must be accepted as part of preparing exponents to overcome their fears under threat and to inoculate them against the effects of fears under threat. CQC/MSD training trade craft methods include bastardisation and use of profanities and insults in training as well as harsh direct verbiage and hands on physical threatening actions that are all part of achieving CQC/MSD enhanced confidence and competency.
